Leona's is lame now, or is it just me?

I am wondering if y'all have found that the quality of service and food has suffered at Leona's over the last two years or so, when they made a big splash about "the kids" taking over. The roasted garlic vanished off the menu along with a couple of other little touches that I liked, and the staff seemed increasingly less friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.

Maybe it's just me, but then again I literally used to write them letters of praise. After two lame dinners and one cold, dry delivery I haven't eaten there in almost a year.

I speak of the Sheffield location. I'm interested to see how other Leona's fans/former fans feel.

I go out to eat infrequently, but in the past, when I've gone out to eat I've favored Leona's. I like their menu. And "service" is relatively unimportant to me as long as the wait staff is attentive to my "beverage" needs.

I've been eating at Leona's (Sheffield and Sheridan locations) for several years now. And I've NEVER experienced a quality problem.

I agree. My husband and I used to love it, particularly because of the garlic dishes and the "roasted rose" you could get alongside. We have eaten at several locations, and really noticed a downturn after "the kids" took over.
