Alexanders in Oak Brook next door to the container store is another winner...try their house salad and smoked pork chop ...great food. If your on the run...they have an excellent chicken sandwich. If you go on a weekend after 5:00 ....be prepared to wait anywhere from an hour to 2 hours....unfortunately, it's worth the wait. I've also had some luck with Wild Fire.....although, I prefer the downtown location (they don't rush you)....try their filet with crusted horseradish. P.S. The black bean soup at Alexanders is worth a try.....darn, now I'm hungry!

I was there about a year ago. As you say, the price was reasonable. Business lunch -- crowd wasn't too loud, wait staff was efficient, overall a fine experience. Surely not 5-star Dining but hey for a greek diner type place (whatever you call em here) it wasn't bad. A lot better than some of the other restaurants in the area... who shall remain nameless :) /pbz
