"Bag" Shaw's and check out real seafood at Bob Chin's on Milwaukee in Wheeling. Also, don't pass up a truly world-class burger at the Riverwood Inn (Deerfield & Milwaukee). My parents love the reasonable french at Le Titi de Paris on Dundee(?). Best thin-crust pizza in the area is Italian Kitchen (Deerfield at Waukegan). Used to like the 94th Areosquadron if it's still on Milwaukee with views of Palwaukee.

But whenever I'm in reach of Deerfield, you'll find me eating a Launcher and slurping a cherry-lemon slush at Tony's Subs (Waukegan near Deerfield High)! 30 years and going strong!!
