I just went to Charlie Trotter's last Thursday and it was wonderful

as Leah has mentioned, the prix fixe dinner is $100 both the regular and the vegetarian although me and my mom both had the regular grand menu, I can tell that the vegetarian one is equally good judging from the reaction of guests at the next table

I actually think the dinner was very filling
each individual portion is just about right but
9 courses (it varies, sometimes more and sometimes less, depending, as I was told by one of the chefs) seems a little much in fact when our server asked what I think about the portion, I told him its too much and he told me that a lot of people agreed so I don't know how you would feel about it

the whole dinner took us 2 1/2 hours and they paced each dish so well that you don't feel like its dragging

after the dinner, they took us for a tour of the kitchen and the private dining room (also where Charlie Trotters does his TV show), the chefs were very nice and they answered any questions that you might have

all in all, I think it is one of the best dining experience I ever had and I hope you will enjoy it too
