I was going to mention Gyros on the Spit also. Just about the only decent one I've had recently (although I've pretty much given up eating gyros because it's usually so awful these days). They make their own right there and you can tell the difference. A pronounced oregano flavor and less grease and salt than the Kronos logs. One of the best things about their gyros is the tzatziki, shredded cucumbers lightly dressed with seasoned yogurt rather than that thin sauce you usually get. A gyros sandwich is $3.65; for $7.25 you also get a Greek salad, beer or wine, dessert, and coffee.

GOTS also has a small selection of homemade entrees served from the steam table by the front window. Things like moussaka, pastichio, meatloaf, or roast chicken & potatoes. Maybe not up to the best you'll find on S Halsted but not bad at all.
