I took my kids to the Walnut room last year for Christmas and was SO disapointed. My Grandma took me there evry year when I was a kid, so I wanted them to see it too. Well after waiting in line for over 2 hours just for a table, we were seated and then waited 1/2 before a server even came up to the table. The place was filthy. The light fixtures were so dirty, the carpet looked like no vacum touched it in weeks. The tree was fun and we got to see the fairy princess. She also could have used a clean costume. But she dusted us with fairy dust and the kids got a kick out of that. In all we waited for a table and then waited forever to get served. Its no wonder theres a 2 to 3 hour wait in off peak time. The service was SLOW. Later that evening we went to the Cheesecake Factory for dessert and had such a great time there that we have started a new tradition. It doesn't include the Walnut room sad to say. Tina
