Hello Mark, I have been working in Schaumburg for the past few months and I too have been searching for a good burrito. I have visited about 6 tacquiria style restaurants and so far, only two are worth mentioning. They are: Pancho's Burritos 816 W Golf Rd (847) 885-4056 and Los Compadres Taqueria 1839 W Algonquin Rd Mount Prospect, IL 60056 (847) 437-4601 Pancho's has good burritos and great chicken tacos. They also have tortas, tamales, and dinners. The burritos come in two sizes, regular and super. The regulars are more than big enough, so I never had a super. The steak is good but I prefer the chicken. Los Compadres is the more authentic of the two. The burritos are a bit smaller but they are also much cheaper and better tasting. They have several house special burritos with various mixed meats. They also have tortas and tacos as well as some great dinner plates. I would recommend the carne asade. Brush up on your spanish, however, as the staff speaks very little english from what I can tell. My first time there, I had to point to my menu to order! Of the two, this one is the better choice, in my opinion. It's not in Schaumburg proper, but it's worth the ride. Try them both and let us know what you think. I will post more as I find others. Kevin p.s. I do consulting so I am constantly changing locations. A great resource for finding restaurants is http://yp.yahoo.com.
