Best Bar-B-Q: White or Black style?

Seems to me you have to decide whether you want White or Black ribs. Growing up on the south side I love Black ribs. Hotter sauce, more fat, more tendons. Crisp almost hard cooked. Don't even know if these places are there anymore and doubt that it is safe for a white guy to go to but try: Betty Boop's Kentucky Tavern, 47th. and St. Laurence; the rib joint about two blocks north of Cabrini Green on Clybourne; Lucco's carry out On Kedzie one block north of Lake St. All had great tips and all plates were served with Wonder bread.
