For pastries and scones (and the like) there is no match in downtown Chicago than The Corner Bakery (it is connected to a restaurant called Maggiano's) and it is located on the corner of. . . Oh, boy, here we go. . . .I think it is LaSalle and Grand Ave. (or is it Clark and Grand) someone help me out. anyway, there listed under Maggiano's. I don't think they have a breakfast or brunch menu, this is more of a stop-after for a chocolate scone. For a good breakfast near, buy not located in, downtown, check out the Wishbone on Washington.
