No shortage of good restaurants there. We were there about a year ago. Things change, as they do elsewhere, and our only disappointment was at a restaurant highly recommended by a chef in NY who worked in Hong Kong. The same restaurant appeared on Patricia Well's worlds best ten list. We wondered why and when Ms. Wells dined there about a month after our trip she wrote in the International Herald Tribune that is was one of her biggest disappointments. She was there at the end of 1997 sometime and a few of her reviews are online at the IHT's site.

You might want to start there and read her reviews from last winter. I thought I had my list handy, but can't seem to find it on my hard drive. I'll take another look later.

We just returned yesterday from Hong Kong. Highly recommend the dim sum for lunch at Victoria Seafood Restaurant on Harbor Rd. in Wanchai.

The Rainbow Seafood restaurant on Lamma Island. You can get there by boat from Central or Aberdeen.
