There is a restaurant in Maui, Hawaii that surely must be the most expensive restaurant in the United States. The fixed-price 'kaiseki' meals served in the tatami rooms begin at $150 and work their way up to $500.

Let me repeat that again.

This restaurant, named Kincha and located in the Grand Wailea hotel, offers a fixed-price meal for $500 per person. This price does not include drinks, tax or tip.

Makes that 49-cent hamburger at McDonalds sound pretty tasty, eh?

I ate at "New Shiroya" last weekend. It was very good and is located on the edge of G-town, Pennsylvania Ave. and 24th or so (next to Donetello).
