Try Roy's Nicolina or Roy's Kahana, which are right next to each other on the main road near you. They are featured on the visitors TV channel if you want a better look. We did drinks and dessert with the meal for about $100 for two. It was the best meal in our 6 nights on Maui.

For that open air, waterfront, intown seafood experience, go with Kimos on Front Street in Lahaina.

Mamas Fish House is on the Hana Highway a few miles south of the airport. The setting is beautiful. It is expensive, and the atmoshere is better during the day. I would recommend going there after you make your trek to the Haleakela crater..

I would agree about Mama's Fish House. That is one great place to
eat. If you are in Lahaina and don't mind spending bucks, David Pauls Lahaina Grill has great food.

-----If you want to spend bucks then there is also the Westin Maui Hotel, (it used to be a Rockefeller resort), but their good restuarants (in the Westins in hawaii) are teriffic and many of them 4 star.

Try Burger King or Pizza Hut. Cheeseburger in Paradise in Lahaina
isn't too bad. There is also a good mexican restaurant in Whaler's Village in Kaanapali. The ultimate in Kaanapali is the Coffee Shoppe at the Kaanapali Beach HOtel. Cheap food.
