Yes, A Pacific Cafe should not be missed. Another place you must go to is Roy's in Poipu. The chefs that own these restaurants are two of Hawaii's best. Get the portobello mushroom appetizer at A Pacific Cafe. And at Roy's, be sure to order the chocolate mouse first, as it takes a half hour or so to prepare and bake it. A chocolate eruption.

Concerning restaurants in Kauai:

I've always like the Dolphin, too! I think it's on the way to Hanalea. (Hey, is that a song, "Do you know the way to Hanalea...")

Real big Ahi portions, and a cool tin roof that sounds wonderful when it rains (note lack of "if")!

Enjoy! I'm jealous already!
