They serve some fish and chicken dishes as well as good veggie food. Rainbow Restaurant, inside Rainbow Groceries, at the corner of North Decatur and Clairmont, has very good food (fabulous homemade soups). They are small and mostly a lunch place, but I believe are open for dinner, call and ask. My favorite veggie place is Indian Delights, they serve southern indian (vegetarian) food. Their masala dosa (rice crepe filled with potato curry, served with coconut chutney and lentil soup) is one of my all-time favorite dishes. Everything they serve is great, and it's cheap, too. They're on Church St., in the Kroger shopping center. Veggie Delight (1051 Ponce de Leon) and Veggieland (somewhere in Buckhead) serve vegan food only. I've never been to either, but have heard they are good. There's also Vegetarian International which is also vegan. They tend towards the fake meat style of cooking, the one time I ate there I wasn't too impressed. I've heard good things about Soul Vegetarian, on Ralph Abernathy. Most of the Thai places in Atlanta do dishes. My Thai (on Clairmont) even does a veggie larb (with tofu instead of ground meat). Also try Nichola's mid-eastern, he does a veggie plate and it's very good. Is that enough? Vicki
