Stay away from any of the Trader Vicks, and you're lucky the other hotel bars is closed on Sunday. In Atlanta you should head immediately to one of the Ritz's...either downtown or in Buckhead. Preferably the latter for what most consider the best food in Atlanta. But the Cafe and Wine bar in the downtown Ritz are fantastic by any standard. The Ritz is only a short walk from the Hilton. Well worth the walk down the street. For Italian try Veni Vidi Vici...very lively but a bit loud. For Steaks try Bones...A real power steak house For a real local politician and journalist bar try Manuels. For burgers and fries go to the Varsity..and wait your turn Other than that take a walk through Buckhead and browse th menus on the windows.
