A recent trip to Paris revealed a small but excellent restaurant called "Le Reminet," which was selected by some French friends in the know. We had a lovely, refined but not fussy meal in a delightful setting. Can't remember the price, but I think it was moderate tø expensive (I didn't pay!). Le Reminet is located at 3, rue des Grands-Degres in the 5th. Tel 01-44-07-04-24. Space is limited, so you should reserve. It's on a small square near the river and the entire experience is perfectly delightful (except for the cigarette smoking, of course, but what can you do when you're in France except try not to breathe too deeply!).
