We usually go to The Hungry Fisherman and Leverock's when we're in St. Pete. Leverock's is a sort of chain, but only in the St. Pete/Tampa area as far as I know, and their grouper filet is out of this world. Also, the Dogwater Cafe is a great casual spot. Their onion rings are the best. You're treated "like the dog you are." My kids love eating out of dog dishes!

We've been to some other great places, but I can't remember the names right off hand--it's been 2 years since we've there.
