Great calzones, pizza and basic pasta dishes. I DO not recommend their white clam sauce though. For steak of course there is Berns in Tampa. It is simply the best steakhouse there is. Reservations and a deep pocket required. For the best brunch around try the Don Cesar on St Pete Beach, the Vinoy in downtown St Pete, or Oystershuckers just over the Courtney Campbell Causeway in Tampa. The Chinese food here is not the best. Do you like Thai? If so good Thai restaurants are a dime a dozen. The Thai Pan Alley on Indian Rocks is one of my favorites, it combines good food with a casual beach bar atmosphere. You do have to deal with plastic plates and tableware. And dont forget local favorites: Cuban/Spanish, Greek, and fresh seafood. Bill Gibson
