I highly recommend THE BUBBLE ROOM on Captiva as a great restaurant
for anyone of any age! Although the decor is not to be believed (combo of antiques and Christmas stuff that is just too cute), the food is excellent.
Only problem is that huge appetites are needed, but I guess entrees can be shared. Another decent place is THE MUCKY DUCK--also on Captiva. The view is extraordinary. As for Sanibel, I think they are all just OK--it has really gotten commercialized.
