Pats on Atlantic Blvd in Pompano (near my house) is a great place; just a wonderful nautical atmosphere. 3) "Porky Something" must mean "Chez Porky's". It is in Pompano. I have been meaning to go there for several years but just have not gotten there yet. I constantly hear good things about Chez Porky's. They have barbecue and Cajun type food; great wings also I am told. They are located right across the street from that Carribean place I am always talking about, I think the address would be SW 6th Street, just off Cypress Road. (Take I-95 to Atlantic Blvd East, go about 1/2 mile, right turn (south) on Cypress, go 6 blocks, Right turn (west on 6th) go 1/2 block, right side of road = Chez Porky's. RIBS in So. Fla??
Thanks for all the Rib advise!!! I made it to Tom's Original BBQ lasr week. In my book a new #1 for ribs in the US!!! This place was great. Had the baby back ribs - full rack and they were great. The address is actuall something like 73XX N. Federal Highway about two miles south of the W. Palm Beach Line. I never made it to the Blue Front, but I am sending friends there to check it out and will try it myself when I go back in March. Only problem with Tom's is the size. The place is not that big and this was before all the people from Up North show up so the I did not wait in any lines, but I am told that after Thanksgiving - beware!!!
