Food in Melborne, FL After spending 16 weeks on travel in Melborne this year I have a definite favorite resturant: The New England Eatery on Palm Bay Road near Babcock. If you like seafood, this is the place. It is reasonably inexpensive and you get tons of food. Very casual. My recommendations are fried scallops (best I've ever had) and the lobster roll. All the seafood is flown in fresh every day. Note, it is packed every day at lunch time. If you are in a hurry go at an off time but it's worth the wait whenever. If you are into deserts, there are some great pasteries at an italian resturant named Rafaella's on Hibiscus Rd. Anne Clement
