About 8 miles west of Panama City is the town of Seaside. This community is noted for its strict architectural rules - its homey beachfront style has received numerous write-ups.

On the dunes is Bud and Alley's - a nice, airy, screened in setting. Food includes excellent grilled fish, pastas, pizzas and salads w/ first rate greens. Dessert is quite good, as well - if you can manage it. Much of the menu seems to change daily or weekly - food is very fresh, fine ingredients. Even better, maybe 1/2 dozen wines from the regular list are open for by-the-glass on a rotating basis. Expect to spend from $25 (say, appetizer and entree) to $40 (plus dessert/salad/wine) per person.

Its been a few years since I was down that way. If you happen to try it, let me know how it was !

Cheers!
