Mark's Place in NMB would be great but it costs a fortune. If you want a little off-beat, in North Dade try Kobi's Caribbean Cuisine, it is on 441 just south of County Line Road. Voted best Caribbean Restaurant in Miami by New Times in 1992, I went there 2x and it was cheap and very good.

Screw dinner - go to the Rascal House for Breakfast of Lunch!!  On Collins Ave in North Miami Beach in the 180's I think (street # and Collins Ave)
