Adam,
There is only one BBQ place in Key West - but it's a great one - Meteor Smokehouse right next door to the best bar in Key West - The Green Parrot Bar ( www.greenparrot.com )

There is also another good place in the middle Keys - Porky's Bayside BBQ nextdoor to the famous 7 Mile Grill.

And also the new Steve's Barbecue up in Key Largo which opened last year. Also, Harry's Barbecue near Islamorada.

That's it, that's all the BBQ in the Keys.
Now, the BEST pork in all of the Keys - BAR NONE - Manny's Special Cuban Mojo Pork Roast at Chicharrone's Cuban Cafe in Key West. Tell'em Cap'n Ron sent ya!

There is also a non-profit group in Key West called the B.U.B.B.A.S. that host the Keys largest annual BBQ festival.

best regards,
cap'n ron

I agree with every one of Ron's picks. However, I want to add one....Alabama Jack's in downtown Cardsound. Not really noted for BBQ, but on occasion the owner's son will feature some home smoked fish on the menu. Deeeelicious!! Also, you can't beat the Conch Fritter's. They are the best in the Keys, second to none. AJ's is a good first stop on your trip to the Keys as it takes no time at all to get you in the mood.
