In Pensacola there are many good seafood restaurants. My Favorite is Flounders out on Pensacola Beach. They are not cheap, about $15 per head w/0 drinks, but the food and atmosphere are great. They often have Reggae bands on the back beach patio. Make sure to try the Key Lime Pie. Also out on Pensacola Beach is Chan's where they have a good Mahi-mahi sandwich. There is also one called the Oyster Bar on Perdido Key, and if you want to travel a bit, there is a hole in the wall with great flounder just across the border in Alabama called the Wolf Creek lodge. Don't miss the non-seafood. Most interesting is Hopkins Boarding House on Spring street near cervantes (90?) in Pcola. There you can find some outstanding southern food - all you can eat of course. Also try McGuires for great steaks and burgers and Microbrews. For a HUGE steak try Mesquite charlies. Bars are great too... There is a good selection at Seville Quarter ( a solid enclosed block of bars), as well as a landmark for Naval Aviatiors at TRADER JOHN's. If you can't have fun in Pcola... I wonder about you.
