My wife and I spent our honeymoon in Key West and we loved the restaurants. We generally ate great breakfasts, small lunches and nice dinners. It's been four years, but here are a few suggestions:
1. For breakfast--Rich's and the Chit-Chat
2. Dinner and/or lunch--Palm Grill, Half Shell Raw Bar

My other suggestions is to get the Florida Keys and Key West guidebook written by Joy Williams. It is one of the best trade guides ever written and does an especially good job in pinpointing good eats in Key West.

Have fun. Key West and the Keys are great.

On your way down stop in Islamorada at Bentley's for dinner and Islamorada Fish Company for lunch. These are casual places with great local menus. You *cannot* get any fresher fish than at I.F.C.

Any local can tell you where these are, both around MM82.

You can go to Louie's Backyard for a great meal. The chef (forgot his name) is the same one that opened A Mano in South Beach in Miami. Excellent food (might be a bit pricey...) There's also the Pier House. They've got (or had) a great Sunday Brunch...

Try Monty's on Summerland Key (just a few keys west of you). Good fresh fish and stone crab claws if they're available. It's on US 1. Douglas Fears

There are many good restuartants in the Keys. One of my favorites is in Key largo it is called the Coral Grill. It is a seafood buffett - I think for $15 or thereabouts. It is the freshest seafood that can be found and a true dining pleasure. Don't niss this one. Also if you are in Key West try Louis Backyard or Jimmy Buffett's Margarittaville Cafe. Buffetts restuarant, both times I visited was a fun place to eat. The food was good both times and the atmosphere very relaxing. Try the conch fritters for an appatizer there - they're extremely tender and flavorful. Enjoy.
