Lauderdale >area (including Miami). Thanks in advance! There are LOTS of great places to eat in Ft. Lauderdale. Knowing your budget and food interests will make a difference though. However, here are some of my favorite places: For Japanese... I recommend the Japan Inn on the corner of University Drive and Sunrise Blvd. For seafood, I recommend 15th Street Fisheries located in an old boathouse at the end of 15th Street about 3 blocks east of U.S.1 (reservations recommended). For steaks I recommend Austin's on Pines Blvd. They make a fabulous hot spinach dip that's to die for. <grin> For low-fat, french cuisine by a real artist I recommend chef Jean- Pierre's Left Bank on SE 6th Avenue just north of Las Olas Blvd. Hope this helps and feel free to e-mail me when you'll be in town.
