In MA, on RTE 1 in Saugus there is the Hilltop, good steaks and the place is huge. We like to go to Kelly's for their fried clams and lobster rolls can't be beat (the original Kelly's is on Revere Beach). In CT, we go to Abbotts for lobster which is just outside Mystic. In NJ for a classic lunch, if you like hot dogs, I go to Ruts Hut in Clifton, home of the best deep fried ripper.

I like the No Name Restaurant in Boston, Georges in Pt. Judith, RI, the Chowder Pot III in Branford, CT, Curtis Bar-B-Que in Putney, VT for state -of-the-art ribs, and Modern Apizza in New Haven.
