Hartford has many, many wonderful haunts. I don't have full addresses but here is a sample:

Italian - Hot Tomato's on Asylum ave. Great pasta. Noisy atmosphere.

Pizza - Harry's Pizza on Farmington Ave in West Hartford. Excellent pie. Trendy.

Portuguese - Casa Lisboa on Park st. Very good. Homey. Reasonable

Spanish - Costa Del Sole on Wethersfield Ave. Excellent Catalan & Gallego cusine. Reservations suggested. $$$

Vietnamese - Pho Huong on Park street. Informal but *very* authentic viet food. If you've never had Viet food, you're in for a real treat. Friendly service even though patronized mostly by monolingual vietnamese and cambodian folks. Very inexpensive.

Hope this helps
