I used to enjoy Gooey Bunch (Lose your Lunch) when I visited my sister down there, but she couldn't stand it, so I had to sneak off by myself. Burgers were tasty but unbelievably greasy. Owner's daughter was cute, as I recall, but that was 20-25 years ago.

Brings me to a question about pizzas. Is The Spot still there? I'm sure that places like Pepe's and Sally's will evolve trendoidly forever, but the dingy old Spot refused to change, and business clearly suffered. Again, that was a zillion years ago. ___ Blue Wave/386 v2.30
