The Siamese Plate offers pretty good Thai food.

Pasta Jay's is generally pretty good on Italian-type food, especially their marinara sauce.

There are a couple of good brew pubs (according to my friends who are beer-lovers). One of them is the Walnut Street Brewery, or something like that.

And, just around the corner from the Pearl St. Mall is a fantastic ice cream shop. Sorry I can't remember the name. Just walk along Pearl St., and look just south of the southeast corner of the intersections along the mall. You'll find it. They have some antique ice cream makers in the window, and probably a long line of customers streaming out the door.

Happy eating.
