I'll second the nomination of Spinnaker's -- though my recollections now are mainly about the location. You might want to look into the pub and restaurant on the main level of Swan's (small hotel, yellow exterior, right by the downtown end of the blue bridge. Sorry I can't be more specific about the names & location. The art in the place is worth the visit; breakfasts in the pub are wonderful, and their Black & Tans are worth the trip to Victoria. [...] Spinnakers is one of four brewpubs in Victoria, and at least one other, the Harbour Canoe Club, has eats that aren't just a pleasant surprise, but downright impressive. Swan's Hotel and Brewpub has a good fish and oyster restaurant, too.
