If you're into the really exotic, try some of Toronto's Ethiopian restaurants. I especially recommend The Queen of Sheba on Bloor St. W., or Ethiopia House just off of Yonge St., just south of Bloor. Inexpensive, very different (but nothing bizarre or disgusting), spicy, and if you are a vegetarian (or not), there is a very good selection. And believe me, unless you eat gigantic meals as a regular habit, you will not walk away hungry!!! There are Mexican restaurants as well (or Tex-Mex). One of the better ones IMHO is Tijuana Donna's on the Danforth just east of Broadview (aka The Willow restaurant). Toronto, Canada
Toronto suggestions?
I was in Toronto back in December and I went to this small Italian Restaurant called Genuvino's Trattoria. The food was very good and the service was very good. (but then again, at the time, I was the only one there). It's at 371 King Street West, and their Phone number is 416-595-0056. I had an appetizer, pasta entree, and wine for about $25 Canadian, which with the exchange rate, came out to about 18.50. The fettunta is defintely worth trying. The restaurant in the Skydome is also quite good. Just walk around the downtown area, and you will have no problem finding a place to eat.
