Wallace, I can't think of any restaurants that offer dancing these days, or music, except for the clubs which I wouldn't call romantic. Perhaps the hotels. But I would recommend Auberge du Pommier for a romantic dinner. It's located on Yonge just north of York Mills on the west side, a little cottage tucked in between some office buildings. It has the ambiance of a country inn, apples in baskets at the door, their homemade oils and vinegars preparing themselves on corner tables. Stone wall and wooden beams. Warm lighting and atmosphere. You do feel transported when you enter. The food is lovely and well-prepared. It is open for lunch as well, but you should have reservations as it is booked well in advance. Not inexpensive, but worth a special celebration. Linda
