Recommendations for Upstate NY/Canada?

If you get to Niagara Falls, go to the Canadian side. There's an observation tower at the top of the hill back behind the falls frontage, and at the top of the observation tower is a restaurant that offers not only a spectacular view (it's one of those revolving places), but surprisingly good food at somewhat higher-than-average prives, but not exorbitant. There's a 6 $Can charge to ride the elevator up, but if you have a restaurant reservation (which is suggested), the elevator is only 2 $Can. A little out of the ordinary for a tourist trap area, but the food is quite good --- steaks, veal, chops, and other items. Modest but good wine selection.
