Les Primeurs, in the Old City (can't think of the street off-hand). Attractive decor, friendly staff, good wine list, GREAT food, and not outrageously expensive.

Just got back from Montreal & found two delightful restaurants, both French bistros. L'Express, 3927 Sainte-Denis (514) 845-5333 and Au 917, 917 Rachel E. (514) 524-0094 (BYOB to this one).

Happy dining,
