-> any restaurant recommendations you might send my way!

Take a club to Prince Arthur. Any restaurant in that area is great. If you drink, don't forget to bring your own booze (that's totally legal in Montreal, and in fact many restaurants do not serve alcohol, you have to bering your own). This greatly reduces your bill, and you can enjoy the extra money on more food!

Da Giovanni's in Montreal near Berri Uqam station. They the best chicken parmisagna I have ever had. When I had it 3 years ago, it was only $6.95 for a complete meal, including desert and drink!!! Montreal is famous for their smoked meat. 'Bens' at the corner of De Maisonneuve and Metcalfe as well as Schwartz. 'Bens' has a good strawberry cheesecake.
