Great Toronto Resturaunt

If anyone is going to be in Toronto over the holidays I'd like to recommend a little place my girlfriend and I found out abut tonight. I normally don't rve about resturaunts but we were actually treated really really well even though we weren;t spending a lot of money and the food was really good and pretty cheap so I thought I'd pass it along....

Heres the thing: Sleek little Itallian place, very modern, great atmosphere, I'd guess between 50 and 60 seats but it wasn't very crowded when we were there. For the two of us we spent about $30 all together with wine and tip so I guess thats not too bad. I don't remember the prices really but i think there may have been a few things around $6 also...not sure though...... Their pastas are apparently made right there and in my opinion were really good. We might have waited a few minutes longer for our food then somewhere else but it was nice and dim with dome jazzy type music playing so it was actualy pretty nice for a change.

Anyway...I'm not a food critic by any means so I probably don't do the place justice but if your looking for somewhere I'd suggest checking it out. It's called Ciao, right on Bloor St at Bathurst across from some movie cinema. Have no idea what the # is or if you need reservations but we didn't seem to. The waitress told us that they were open for New Years also and didn't need reservations but we have no idea what the men is.... Anyway...if your interested...I'd recommend it.....check it out.

If you are looking for a place to fine dine, there is a place not to
far away from there! It is called Prego Della Piazza. It has top quality food, but is quite expensive. It is located at Bloor St. West and Avenue road. It is great for business lunches and special occations. They have great service and a beautiful restaurant. I am not critic, but I worked there and it was great!

Right you are, Victor! I've been recommending Prego Della Piazza and Splendido to anyone who's interested in superb dining in Toronto. Another great name that comes to mind is BOBA, not far from Prego on Avenue Road.
