I know this place is an institution and that a lot of people like it. Ugh. The wait is usually huge and I've seen the host seat "friends of the house" immediately while I've waited for nearly an hour. Everything is fried, fatty, or tastes like it came from a can. I get better spaghetti sauce from a jar of Newman's Own. The sandwiches are so heavy and fried I feel sick after eating them. College dining service food at its worst. They push their bar heavily, probably to make the already-drunk customers think the food is good. The waiters we've had have tended to be obnoxious and have approached us as if we should be honored to be eating in the place. And vinyl seats belong at Denny's, not at a place where you'll spend at least $15 per person for dinner. Joanne
