Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too!
El Camino Real near Castro, Mountain View
FJL2 was introduced to me as a great pizza joint, but I've come to love their pasta. I recommend either of the two dishes that includes Fontina, Gorgonzola, and carmelized onions (I prefer the warm spinach salad, but the linguini is good too). And, if you have a friend who is partial to pizza, they're good too. In fact, FJL2 pizza's only fault is its competition; with Tony & Alba's, Applewood, and Stuft so close by, it rarely is my first choice. Unless, of course, it's late at night; FJL2 is open until 2 on weekends.
