I've tried two places in Redwood City and one place in Cupertino, and they do an adequate job of meeting the east coast style chinese food requirements.

Yeah! Chinese (off of Redwood Shores Pkwy. Take the Holly/Road Redwood
Shores exit off of 101, go east, turn at the first shopping center on
your right, with Nob Hill nearby)
Rickshaw (I'm blanking on the last part). It's either Rickshaw Cafe, or Rickshaw Takeout maybe. It's in San Mateo, I think. It's a takeout only place, but the prices are incredibly low.

I like Yeah! the best so far. Service is very slow, but the food has a lot of sauce and decent chunks of meat. And they've got fried ice cream.

Cuisineer Six I go to more though because I live in Santa Clara.
