Try Damon's on Brand Blvd. in Glendale. There's a long wait on Saturday nights, but Sunday's not bad. Great ambiance and steaks that are quite good for the price.

I don't know about the Glendale restaurant, but the one that was (emphasis on "was") in Simi Valley was BAD. The quality of the beef was poor as was the preparation. The service was less impressive than the food. We tried them when they first opened (always a risk), but gave them two more chances. Same bad food, same bad service. They were closed within two years.

Now that the building is vacant, we are hoping that a decent restaurant will move in. Kind of desperate out here :)
