The following website has a rather extensive list of places. http://www.citycent.com/CCC/Pasadena/index.html You might want to check out Robins on North Rosemead next to the Pacific theatres. Interesting menu. Old Pasadena is chock full of places, park and walk a few blocks and see what suits your fancy.

Pasadena Suggestions?
Burger Continental (a Greek restaurant) would be right up your alley. A couple of Pasadena restaurants that I like are: Kuala Lumpur (one block from Colorado in Old Town, right around the corner from Jerry's) - Malaysian food, wonderful food and owners, and Saladang for great Thai food. This one is near Old Town but I can't remember the street name. I used to go to a place on Los Robles (I think?) called Aunt Gussye's, for really good breakfasts, but I'm not sure if it's open any more.
Her are juse some of my favorites that are not part of the frenzied overpriced chain places.: Bona Corso on Lake Avenue above Orange Grove - best Italian in my opinion. Ocean Coral on Colorado near San Gabriel - good Chinese. El Portal Near Oak Knoll and Colorado, across from Target - Mexican (better than ordinary Mexian food- has some S. American type things too). If you just want coffee shop food done very well, try Shakers on Fair Oaks in South Pasadena. Rotissere Chicken on Colorado (it was across from Target by it is moving to Old Town.. Bad for us but good for business I am sure.) . Sushi of Naples also on Green near El Portal excellent Japanese food, does get crowded though. . Saladang is on Fair Oaks, about 3 blocks south of Old Town. Pasadena is a great place to find good restaurants. But, I think Old Town is getting _saturated_ by mediocre Italian restaurants, and it is becoming a haven for overhyped chains like Cheesecake Factory, Mi Piace, Il Forniao, and Crocodile Cafe. I'd like to suggest finding places to go on Lake and Green Street.
