First choice for me would be Pinot Blanc in St. Helena (Napa). I'm guessing they will have a Thanksgiving menu as their SoCal operations (various Pinots and Patina) offer some wondrous stuff for the holiday. Call immediately to see if you can get a table.

Joachim Splichal is our favorite restaurateur, and Pinot Blanc is our favorite of all the locations.

We ate there twice in August and both times were stupendous...if the lobster corn brulee is on the menu you won't want to miss it. It was all I could do to not order a second one our first dinner there...hence the return visit (my wife was the same way with the foie gras).

Wherever you wind up, have a happy turkey day and let us know about it!
