When I'm in OC I always make a point to got to Pasta Connection on Harbor right across from Triangle Square. Not 'hot', but killer Italian/Argentine stuff, great breakfasts (homefries are world-class) and nice deli. Try out the Cousino Maçul wines. A funky Mexican hang is Super Antojitos...I prefer the one on Bristol. Shrimp ceviche tostada rocks and they have good salsas. Plenty of good Thai...Royal Thai in Newport Beach is pricy, but the food and room are excellent. Thai Taste is more affordable and every bit as good. For Indian try Mother India in Costa Mesa...everything is excellent. Remove a "syn" from my reply address before replying by email Tonefully yours...
