As always, the *downstairs* brunch at the Cliff House (just north of the west end of Golden Gate Park). $25/head and worth every penny, especially if you like seafood.

Don't know about the Sunday brunch buffet, but my wife and I went to the Saturday dinner buffet at the Culinary Academy a couple of weeks ago and the food was some of the best I've had at any buffet.

If you can get past the institutional feel of the lobby area, the dining room itself is quite nice.

Now, I'm not a food maven, so take my opinion for what it's worth. Maybe someone else can offer a more experienced judgement of the brunch buffet...

Zazie on Cole near Carl.

If you want something very elaborate, try the Sheraton Palace in S.F. Price will be high, but it will be a meal and a location that you will long remember. Reservations are probably needed.

Enjoy,
Howard
