Saturday evening, my wife and I felt like takeout pizza. We found a val-pak coupon, $3 off a large with a menu on the back. Called Pizza Chicago on Halford in Santa Clara, ordered up a #5 delivered, asked to have it put on a charge card and was told it would arrive in 30-45 minutes. It tasted great as always, the crust is probably the best part, the fresh tomatoes are a nice touch and there was tons of cheese on it, too. When it comes to something as controversial as pizza, I stay away from the authenticity issue and concentrate on taste. This place has consistently delivered, on-time, a consistent, good tasting pizza to us. I don't work for them, I'm just a customer. Pizza is too heavy for us to eat very often but Pizza Chicago is usually on our short list.
