I've been to Nick's several times (I live in Pacifica). The place is more of a casual dinning place. The decor is a casual setting both at lunch and dinner. There is a dinning room and a seperate bar/good size dance floor. I don't know what kind of music they have for the dance floor.
As for the food!!!!! The different sea food sandwiches are
GREAT!!!!!! I don't ever remember ordering steak or anything else that isn't sea food so I can't comment on that part of the menu.
The view is nice, but I've seen better. The view from Nick's looks
out to the mighty Pacific Ocean. Unfortunally, there is a parking lot directly in front of Nick's so you don't have a 100% clear view, but there still is a good enough view to justify just going there for a nice lunch. I'd say the best time to go eat at Nick's is for a nice Sunday brunch, sunset, or when the waves are big!!! When the waves are big, the water crashes into the rocks and the water splashes onto the parking lot. The wave splash can get so high and so powerful that when there are big waves, cars park away from the water. People have been know to loose a windshield with the waves. All this may sound terrible, but its an amazing sight.
If you're looking for a more formal, romantic, better view place, go
to Moonraker across the street. That is another story. Good Luck
