A trip to an auto dealer permitted a visit to BJ Bull's (Alma Rd. near Meadow) for a typically satisfying lunch of a pasty and salad. But this is really about the Blenheim's ginger ale which is available there. (Marcie said it comes from South Carolina. I've since found several ba.food comments on it over the past few years, although not much recently.) I found it to have just the right "bite", without the coarseness of some specialty ginger beers (and without suggesting the need for some kind of antidote). Google showed some odd reference to its being available in a hardware store (at least a couple of years ago), but I'm sure I didn't figure that one out properly.... Given the temperature, I also checked out Rick's Ice Cream - still not open, but at least the reworking of the interior was in active progress, and looks well underway. Any week now???
