All this reflects is that there are far more ex-New Yorkers in San Francisco, than there are ex-San Franciscans in New York. The net migration is westward and has been for a long time. Were I stuck in New York for more than a few weeks I'd start going into withdrawal for a good burrito.

Which reminds me. After flying from LaGuardia with a change at DIA into Oakland the other night, I went directly to Talk of the Town (Taqueria Morelia) on East 14th, and ordered a chorizo burrito with an extra of sour cream. Good lord was it good. Morelia has always had about the best chorizo burritos around but this seemed exceptionally good even for them. The chorizo quality seemed the best ever.... the usual chorizo meat and spices being augmented by what to my taste buds was an infusion of coriander.. gawd it was wonderful.

(As an aside, I prefer ordering the chorizo burrito with an extra of sour cream, to the alternative choice of ordering a super chorizo burrito (which includes rice, guacamole, and sour cream). The rice dilutes the experience.)
